Wow. What a great weekend for Apollo.

Its fair to say we had a big one, but recently that seems to be the way of things these days.

As I sit here trying to type up the events and achievements it really is impressive.  This weekend alone we’ve

*** Entered a team into the Groucho GP, no results but as always and standard Apollo are always to the fore and full of  racing.
***Ladies 100 mile.  The Ladies section did a 100 mile ride just for the hell of it.  The same ladies were  struggling to do 15 miles around the Derrymacash circuit a year ago, they are amazing.
***A squad from Apollo climbed Slieve Donard on foot on the Summer Solstice night.
***6 racing men entered the Noel Teggert Memorial race in Banbridge.  A famously tough event that the team came home with results from.
***John Callaghan, Apollos lone triathlete competed this weekend in the Casueway Coast Triathlon. What a guy.

If you’re bored in Apollo you need to take a good long hard look at yourself.  We really do have the best club in the country and we’re growing and getting bigger and better every day

.  UP APOLLO.
